U2 Concert

Last Tuesday I went to the U2 concert. It was one of those concerts that you have on your "concerts I want to see before I die". I was so excited that they were finally actually coming to town. The show was AMAZING.

The stage was huge... and a show in itself.

I knew Bono was getting old, but I didn't realize he was 51. He is looking good for his age!

Oh and Edge isn't so bad looking himself!

It was a great night. Tony and Karen, Brandy and JJ were there and it was fun to be with the brothers.

2010 Twilight Concert Series

The 2010 Twilight Concert Series is starting in July. They announced that they will be held at Pioneer Park instead of the Gallivan Center like last year.

Very excited for Modest Mouse and the The New Pornographers.

Today at work after lunch I said something that must have sounded like Afternoon Delight... So Ashlee got the song in my head. After singing the tune in my head, the song is stuck in everyone's head. So here is a little video for kicks.

Bonnie Raitt Concert

BONNIE RAITT CONCERT

Last night I went to the Bonnie Raitt concert with Andy, Emily and Cooper. It was at Red Butte Gardens Amphitheater and it was a lot of fun. It was a beautiful night, the weather was perfect, and we had a lot of fun. It was Cooper's 7th Birthday and it was nice to spend it with him. He is darn funny and last night said something like "for Pete heaven's sake.. when your not using your iphone turn it off" we were all laughing. Who knows where he comes up with these things. He is growing up so fast and getting so smart...

Greenday on Sunday...

Last Sunday I went to the Franz Ferdinand/Greenday Concert at the Energy Solution Arena. I was surprised at how good of concert it was. The sang all their great songs and the background sets were awesome.

Our seats were not so great, but for $20 I didn't care and the show was great. Thanks Alex for going with me.

Living for Eden Benefit Concert

I started the week out on Monday attending a benefit concert for Paul Cardall. It was so amazing. Kurt Bestor, Peter Brienholt, Ryan Shrupe and the Rubberband, and Colors performed. Paul's story is so amazing. If you would like to read his blog go to http://www.paulcardall.com/
There was so much talent in the room, and the whole story just made me sob. Words cannot express the feelings that took place on that stage, but it truly was wonderful. Of course it is always fun to watch all these guys perform and that night was no exception.

Drove past this and glad someone saw it. Couldn't resist stopping and taking a picture. I was dying to go up to the people and ask if I could go in their backyard to take a picture. Chickened out...
